Construction of Square

 

1.   Concept skills

·         closed  two-dimensional shape with four equal sides

·         All angles are 90 degrees 

2.      Process skills: procedure skill

Steps;

1.      Click on the GeoGebra icon

2.      Create two points (point A and point B)

3.      Draw  a line segment joining A and B

4.      Take the perpendicular line tool to make the line perpendicular passing through point A

5.      Take the perpendicular line tool to make the line perpendicular passing through point B

6.      Draw a circle from point A, and, mark point C

7.      Draw another circle from point B, and mark point D

8.      Remove circles and perpendicular lines by clicking on ‘show object’

9.      Now, join points A and C, C and D, and D and B
