Constructive tools
What are constructive tools? Why it is important to learn? How to use constructive tools? Constructive tools are that can be used for manipulation of information, constructing one’s own knowledge, and visualizing one’s understanding of information. They are also tools to connect new knowledge. Some of the examples of constructive tools that I learned were LMS, concept mapping, desktop publisher, Google classroom, blogger, etc. why it is important to learn about constructive tools is that constructive tools enhance new knowledge and foster learners’ critical thinking. It also motivates independent learning and encourages learners to manipulate ideas.
How do we implement constructive tools in teaching
and learning? We use PowerPoint in teaching, creating a simulation, and creating simple web pages. We use applications such as ms word, PowerPoint, and excel to
construct effective learning resources. Some of the advantages of using
constructive tools that I have learned are enhancing creativity and thinking
skills, showcasing the learner’s product, and constructing learning materials for learners for classroom learning.
